Instead, deportations are up; the amount of immigrants in detention centers is higher than when Trump was in office, and Biden is finishing the wall. And Title 42 has been extended, furthering the trauma of immigrants, while they’re treated like political theatre. Things have to change, especially because 70% of people support a pathway to permanency for immigrants.

Protect the local immigration populations in every state, city and county who support jobs and communities. They can do this by passing sanctuary laws, increasing protections, and changing their own local immigration laws.
Pass legislation to build a new immigration system and build a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country who need it.
