rapid response, digital based organizing is a key entry point to build bigger movements if you use follow up correctly.  Rapid response moments can activate people who might usually be unaware of issues or even usually against you. Increases in the cost of living are a great way of making everyone mad, regardless of ideology. Take these moments to bring people into your organization and movement, and then use actual organizing to move them on the ladder of engagement to deepen their understanding of the issues. This will require layering political education, storytelling, follow up asks, and ongoing engagement. It can be hard, but connecting to self interest and using political education is actually one of the best ways to shift people.
